18TH edition of International Film Festival of Kerala
paid tributes to the departed film personalities of Malayalam Cinema who left
us in the past year. Special function was held at Hotel Hycinth for the release
of ‘Shredanjali Series’ books, published by Kerala State Chalachitra Academy,
on renowned actor Sukumari, art directior S Konnanatu and musical maestro K
Raghavan. The function was attended by Chalachitra Academy Chairman
Priyadarshan, directors T. K. Rajeev Kumar, Nemom Pushparaj, Ashok R Nath,
Suresh Unnithan and lyricists Bichu Thirumala and Poovachal Khader.Book on
Sukumari, written by MS Dilip, was released by Academy Chairman Priyadarshan by
handing over the first copy to director Ashok R Nath. Kanesh Punnor’s book on
S. Konnanatu was released by T. K. Rajeev Kumar. The first copy was received by
Nemom Pushparaj. Book on K Raghavan master by Dr. M.D Manoj, was released by
Bichu Thirumala and the first copy was received by Poovachal Khader.
