Marco Bellochio, is selected for the life time achievement award of 19th International Film Festival of Kerala this year.


Marco Bellochio, a  well known auteur is selected for the life time achievement award of 19th International Film Festival of Kerala this year. Marco Bellocchio was born on November 9, 1939 in Piacenza, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. He is a writer and director, known for Vincere (2009), Dormant Beauty (2012) and Good Morning, Night (2003). He is married to Gisella Burinato. They have two children. His film ‘My Mother’s Smile’ will be screened during the fest .This year’s IFFK Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented  at the gala opening Ceremony that will be held on December 12.
