Chumbak ,a short film from the TV
course students of Film and Television Institute of India(FTII), Pune has won
Special Jury Award at the 15th Kyoto International Student Film and Video
Festival, Japan. This is the only student film from India that has bagged such
honour. The film was selected from more than 250 entries received by the
Festival from the students all over the world. Some 1,000 film enthusiasts
participated as delegates in the recently concluded Festival.
