The renowned
Italian directors Paulo Taviani and Vittorio Taviani, popularly known as Taviani
brothers will be honoured with a lifetime achievement award at the 17th
International Film Festival of Kerala, to be held at Thiruvananthapuram from December 7 to 14. Paulo
and Vittorio Taviani have always worked together for more than four decades and
have won coveted awards, including Palme d'Or at the Cannes festival in 1977
for their film 'The Night of the Shooting Stars.' 'Caesar Must Die,' a docu
drama ,which won the 'Golden Bear' award
at the Berlin International Film Festival this year, is their latest film. This
film will also be screened in the fest .Padre Padonre
