15th IFFK -FIPRESCI Prize-Award goes to Buried Secrets/ Dowaha directed by Raja Amari from Tunisia
The FIPRESCI Award for the best film in competition goes to Buried Secrets/ Dowaha directed by Raja Amari from Tunisia ,for its vibrant study on the precarious life of women in Tunisian society today. Brilliantly narrated, enacted and photographed the film gives an compassionate insight in women` violence against each other rooted in their `buried secrets`, their non revealed experience of abuse in the past. The FIPRESCI Award for the Best Malayalam Film goes to Makaramanju/ Mist of Capricorn directed by Lenin Rajendran.The fipresci jury comprise of Claudia Lenssen (Chairperson),Kiril Razlogov and Bikas Mihra.
