Four Indian
films have been selected for the competition section of the 21st International Film Festival of Kerala 2016(IFFK)
which will be held in the second week of December 2016.The Kerala Chalachitra Academy
organizing this popular film fest has also released the list of 18 Indian films
in four categories The selection was
made by a panel of experts and it includes two Malayalam films
"Manhole", directed by debut Vidhu Vincent and "Kaadu Pookkunna
Neram" by Biju, which will compete in the international section. Saibal
Mitra's Bengali film "Chitrokar" ("The Last Mural" and
Santwana Bardoloi's Assamese film "Midnight Keteki" are the other two
.There are seven Malayalam films in the Malayalam Cinema today category and
another seven films from other Indian languages in the Indian Cinema Category.
