"The Broken Circle" by Felix van Groeningen won Critics’ Prize(FIPRESCI prize-International Federation of Film Critics) at 29th Festroia International Film Festival

The FIPRESCI(International Federation of Film Critics) Jury  of  the  29^th Festroia International Film Festival setúbal portugal 7 - 16 june awarded the critics  Prize to : "The Broken Circle" (The Broken Circle Breakdown) by Felix van Groeningen (Belgium, 2012), featured in the Official Section.FIPRESCI Jury : Jury: Stephen Locke, Germany ("epd-Film", "Der Tagesspiegel"), Marie-Pauline Mollaret, France ("Ecran Noir"), José Ramón Otero, Spain ("Cambio 16").The jury mentioned that the film is  : "An unconventional tale of a couple coping with loss, a timeless story of love and sorrow highlighted with traditional bluegrass music”. With this award, the FIPRESCI Jury also wishes to acknowledge the diversity and originality of Belgian films, as featured in the Homage to Belgian Cinema.
