48th Karlovy Vary International
Film Festival will also host two restored silent films from the 1920s.The first is J.S. Kolar's
"The Arrival of Darkness," a Czech film to be screened in honor of
the country's 70th anniversary of film archiving. Alfred Hitchcock's 1927 film
"The Ring" will also be shown, and both films will feature live
musical accompaniment.
