Slum dog become street dog

Authorities in Mumbai have demolished the hut of Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail, the 10-year-old boy from Mumbai’s slums who appeared as young Salim in the Oscar winning film “Slumdog Millionaire”.This hut can be described as a shack or a lean-to with a tarpaulin roof and situated in the Garib Nagar slums, was destroyed by bulldozers on Thursday night last.. Another 30 more neighbors’ homes were also destroyed along with Ismail’s .There was no advance warning of demolition. The 10-year-old actor, had been in deep sleep in the hut when the cruel authorities and heartless bulldozers came to demolish it.. There are some 18 million people living in Mumbai , over half of them are consigned to the slums.
