Kadammanitta Award constituted in fond memory of late poet and social activist Kadammanitta Ramakrishnan, by Kadammanitta Ramakrishnan foundation, was presented to poet Sugathakumari in a simple function at her residence. Adoor Gopalakrishnan and M.A.Baby presented the memento and a cash prize of Rs 55,555=. A. Meera Sahib presided over the function in which poet V.Madhusoodhanan Nair, Dr.B.Iqbal, Sarijiniamma, Wife of renowned poet ONV, Santhamma Kadammanitt Ramakrishnan, Geetha Krishnan, Prof.V.N.Murali, M.R.Gopinathan,, Dr.V.G.Vijayakumar, V.K.Purushothaman Pillai participated.
